To achieve a higher quality of products the company is continually improving and upgrading the quality of production in general, especially by buying raw materials from environmentally healthy areas, by consistent installation of modern equipment, and by following the world trends in this area. In the last year we made a complete reconstruction in accordance with the HASAP system of the slaughterhouse for livestock and cattle and the whole plant for meat processing. The latest investment is the machine for packing meat and meat products in a protected environment with longer duration.
The activities in the company are realized by a team of highly trained professionals from multiple profiles, with decades of experience in the meat industry.
During the manufacturing process, employees process raw materials strictly according to the international standards HCCP and IS0 9001-2000. Each procedure corresponds to the requirements for reliability, quality and hygiene. MIK Sveti Nikole has a lab where regular organoleptic,chemical and bacteriological examinations of the quality of finished products and raw materials are performed daily. Furthermore, the state veterinary inspection is regularly present and performs additional quality control of raw materials and finished products.
It could be said that the employees are fully committed to the continuous improvement of quality of the products in order to utterly satisfy the consumers’ demands and expectations.
All manufactured products are stored in appropriate warehouses and chambers before being delivered to the market. MIK Sveti Nikole has a storage area for deep freezing of 800 tons of meat and a storage area with a temperature of +4°C for another 300 tons.
As a socially responsible company MIK Sveti Nikole pays special attention to preserving the environment and to the application of environmental standards. For these reasons we have built a treatment plant for waste water, which has positioned our company amongst the environmentally cleanest companies in the state.
